Heaven please by oh by
let me keep my pumpkin pie
as you know the sky will fall when she cries
and she hates to be alone
and is scared of the unknown
so she clings to the only thing that she knows
devil speak that's not me
i'm the awful memories
buried deep inside the backroads of her mid
cause i'm crude and i'm rude
and they say i've killed a few
oh but hey man what the hell you have too
and I wanna be around
to get you up when you are down
i'm the same as when you left
but know i'm fighting my own death
as you try so hard to forget your old regrets
paint me blue if you choose
it's the color that seems to suit
the way we feel without the other to consume
and I wanna be around
to get you up when you are down
and I wanna be around
to get you up when you are down

Following the release of their EP Hollow Joy in 2015, Andy Alvarez and company continue to provide fantastic lo-fi indie tunes that meet at an intersection of youth and sincerity, yet matures both in lyricism and musicianship since their last full-length release. One of my most anticipated albums of the year, this doesn't disappoint.
